Building Futures: New Construction in Syracuse NY Shaping Communities

Driving Syracuse Economy Through Construction

Imagine a world without construction developments. One of the first thoughts most likely will be the absence of new buildings or homes. But construction is so much more than just putting up structures - it's about shaping communities and creating the spaces where life happens.

Our mission is to build futures by strengthening the communities we serve. We’re dedicated to creating housing, commerce, jobs, and stronger community ties, while enhancing real estate value in every area we build.

We've had the honor of working on several local projects in the Syracuse area that enhance living conditions and boost economic engagement. It’s projects like these that truly make an impact on the surrounding community.

Clay Marketplace - Clay, NY

This new facility is right down the road from Micron, where the largest semiconductor fabrication facility in the history of the United States is being built. The addition of the plant has predictions to offer over 50,000 new jobs to the state.

Clay Marketplace plays a vital role in housing the new families moving to the area in the next several years. Offering 96 one or two bedroom apartments, and over 15,000 sq feet of commercial space, tenants can have everything they need, right on campus.

The TenM Construction team framed over 140,000 sq. feet, as well as installed the roof and siding to all buildings. We also added a signature touch with unique wood framing, trim, and finish carpentry.

LoSo Lakeside Luxury Apartments - Cicero, NY

These new luxury apartments offer modern amenities and beautiful waterfront views of Oneida Lake. Only a few miles from Micron, LoSo is ready to welcome newcomers with comfortable and stylish apartments.

The TenM Construction team expertly completed over 330,000 square feet of framing and siding for this project, and we’re thrilled to see these 248 units become home to new families in our community.

Penfield Apartments (Moyer Carriage Lofts) - Syracuse, NY

A well known staple in Syracuse for the tiny house at the top of the building, TenM Construction finished the Moyer Carriage Lofts renovation in March of 2024. The renovation consisted of an existing historical factory building into a high-end residential apartment complex.

It was important to keep historical features throughout the building, such as the “house” at the top of the building, which actually houses the building's antique elevator system - no one has ever lived there (we asked!).

Developer Hueber Breuer led the overall project, as TenM Construction applied their multi-trade touch by completing 137,405 square feet of framing, structural shoring, interior trim, and finish carpentry for this project, including raising the floors by 9 inches.

For improved safety, there was an addition of a fully gated parking lot and courtyard. Now, this building proudly houses 128 apartment units; 90 one-bedroom and 38 two-bedroom.

Fifty apartments will be reserved for individuals with mental illnesses and domestic violence victims, with six units fully accessible for those with mobility impairments, and three adapted for hearing or vision impairments. Residents will also have access to on-site support services funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative.

In every project we undertake, we're not just building structures—we're building futures. By enhancing living conditions and fostering economic growth, we're making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. This commitment drives us to continue shaping spaces where life and community thrive.
